Serve
Hurricane Helene Aid
As our neighbors in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee continue to recover from the impacts of the storm, here are some ways you can help:

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA)
PDA has deployed teams in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee, and is partnering with communities to work on long term recovery through grants and other assistance. Gifts can be made to PDA through the church, with a check marked "Helene", or you can make a direct contribution here.
Montreat and Black Mountain Presbyterian Church
Our friends at Montreat Conference Center took a heavy hit from the storm. A repair fund has been established for direct donations to the conference center, and you can give by clicking here.
In the surrounding area, Black Mountain Presbyterian Church is hard at work feeding neighbors and supporting local residents. BMPC has set up a direct fund, with all donations going to help provide relief, you may donate here.
Clean Up Buckets
PDA is already distributing clean-up buckets throughout the affected areas. Their supply of buckets has been greatly reduced. Together with Southminster Day School and the Rotary Club of Vestavia Hills, we will be gathering supplies to make clean-up buckets to be distributed.
Southminster puts its faith in action! Our members serve both within and beyond the church.
