PRAYER CHAIN

Prayer is a wonderful and amazing gift. It provides us with the feeling that God knows, understands, and cares about the problems and joys in our lives. Beyond that, prayer is an excellent way to share in a community of faith. Praying for the joys and sorrows of others allows us to draw close to one another, sharing in each others' excitement or pain.

Our Prayer Chain offers an excellent way to "stay close" to one another in prayer. Many of our members receive our Prayer Chain through email . If you are already receiving prayer chain information, please set aside a special time in your day to pray for the individuals and families. If you are not receiving prayer chain information and would like to, please contact Betsy Murphy in the church office (205-822-1124) or by email, bets_southmin@bellsouth.net. You are also encouraged to call the Church office and offer prayer information so you can have a community of believers praying for you.
