The Bill Christians Memorial Golf Tournament was established in 2019 in memory of our beloved Clerk of Sessions, Bill Christians. Bill was Southminster's Clerk of Session for many, many years. He will forever be remembered in our hearts. Although Bill wasn't an avid golfer he did swing the club around from time to time. But one thing is for sure Bill LOVED the Presbyterian Home for Children. He made several tris a year to their thrift store to drop off donations. The Bill Christians Memorial Golf Tournament benefits the Presbyterian Home for Children. The Presbyterian Home for Children serves children, young adults, and families throughout Alabama who seek healing and hope for their troubles lives. PHFC has been raising hopes, growing confidence, and nurturing faith since 1868.
